S.P.F Carbine

Posted by Billy Ray on Wednesday, 9 November 2022, at 10:35 p.m.

I have already spoke to Dick Hosmer a little about my Carbine. I know itís more than likely from the second batch of Pennsylvania State Police Force in 1909. Mine is S.P.F C 74. Just wondering if anyone out there has dived deeper on the small number of these Carbine out there. I have the article from Man at Arms of 2007. I read that the Author had copies of the paperwork that was found in the National Archives. I contacted PA Police Force Museum and they have only one in their Museum and thatís about all the Curator knew. So, I am at a standstill for now. Copies of the correspondence is what I am really looking for. Thanks, Billy
