Thanks Dick, sounds like a plan and I will be employing it as soon as I can find a load that groups which is something Iím struggling with at the moment. PSeems my bullets are a struggle to fit in the breech, Iím using Starline brass and it seems the base of the case is a tight fit. Itís not the bullet as Iíve tried loading just the case and it gets hard to push in around half an inch before itís flush. This results with the trapdoor ejector lever not falling in to its seat properly and I have to manually push it down. Iím new to antique rifles, mine was made 1891, itís an 1888 model and looks to have had lots of use. PAny ideas, cheers.
