I can see ZERO drawbacks to using stacked bulls - for target shooters. Hunters will have to take a different approach. First, find a load that groups TIGHT for your rifle, no matter where on the target, or backer. Then, CAREFULLY fire a LOT, like 20 or so, rounds at one bull using your preferred hold to establish an average vertical dispersion - or group center if you will. Determine the distance from your aiming point to that center. Then and only then, mount your second bull directly above the first using the dimension determined, and go back to shooting. You should come away with a nice upper target. The two-bull method eliminates having to fool with the front sight, and is the ONLY way to go with the early one-piece sights.
