I am looking for some history on a Springfield 1873 trapdoor. I recently found this gun in a relatives attic and was attempting to track down its history. The serial number is 372349 Any information would be welcome. Or if there is a recourse I can use to track this number that would be welcome as well. PIt appears to be have been modified and decorated by Indians.
