Re Can I use a 1884 breech block on a 1873 receiver

M1884 blocks will PROPERLY fit any receiver above 96300. They fit, and may be used, but will not look right, with earlier ones. Several HampR owners have installed SA blocks as a work-around to the shitty latch design of the HampR. Pederolis are quite similar to HampRs - so - they MAY interchange also.
