Re Re Replacing breechblock

My thoughts are that the receiver was cracked around the area of the match mark stamp where the metal was stressed in the initial assembly. I think the barrel will not go into the new receiver because the chamber length area of the barrel has been expanded with hot loads, causing the soft barrel to expand bigger than its original factory dimensions, which cracked the thin hardened receiver. Bob Hoyt can repair the chamber, skim the threads, and install the new receiver, and headspace if you wish. Or you could just put another barreled action in the stock. I bet if you run your fingers down the barrel you will feel a noticable expansion in the outside diameter, as you get near the sight screw area near the receiver. Please let us know. Anybody else have thoughts on this
