Thanks Tom, it does. What a place to cut cost. That little set screw, even with the flat and double up worries me. I think the Pedersoli option is more attractive. All they did was machine the round cam shaft square where the cam slips on to it and add the little set screw. True, you have to get it right for the cam and shaft to have the correct orientation, but that is not much of a problem for a machinist. The Pedersoli thumb piece is not as attractive as the H&R engraving, and hard surfacing (odd as it is).
