Hi Tom,

Thanks for the info. I was also informed that many of that range were rifles mixed in with carbine numbers more often than not. As Springfield was in the process of completing a 12,000 piece order of rifles at that time too. I have two carbines and one rifle in that 19K group. Don't know much else about them. First Model Carbines are fun to search for as so many are not real. Regards, John
