Re: Reliability of .50-70 models

According to the Frankford Arsenal Drawing, the case should be 1.75". However, it will take 0.2" of additional case for the lead to encounter the rifling.

The drawing is on the inside back cover of the Arsenal's Metallic Cartridge booklet of various types of primers.
