I removed the set screw and cleaned out the hole with alcohol 3 times till no more crud came out. Than I reinstalled it with locktite. If that doesn't work, I'll drill and tap the hole for a longer pin. I also have an original bolt I can fit if need be, but I'd rather keep the one with the engraving on it. We'll see what happens. From what I've read, some of 'em never self eject. If I'm one of the lucky ones, I'll be good to go!
