Good work Steve. It is no problem replacing missing parts. I got most of the parts from Al when I was restoring a Model 1873 and it turned out looking great. Did you get some before pictures. I would love to see the before and after, of course here I go asking for before and after and I didn't even think of doing that with mine. I would advise going ahead and replacing missing or broken parts. I got one of the repro rods from Al and I can't tell the difference. It looks genuine to me, but then what do I know about that. All of Al's parts are tops. You will not go wrong with any of them.
