Dick;

Which rifle are we talking about, the Springfield T.D. or my Winchester 1866.? I don't want to photograph the T.D. at this time, as I'm doing more research into its history. I'm not however going to devote the next 14 years of research into this one though. When my research is complete I'll present to Trapdoor Collectors first, then probably write another article giving what facts I can dig up which will include many photos, both historical of the period in question and new of the T.D. I own. The photos will feature what differences I've been referring to both on the normal T.D. and the ones that were being both photographed by Randle in the studio in '84 and Fly in the field in '86. Save your "never, impossible" until I make my presentation. If I'm WRONG I'LL APOLOGIZE TO ALL, HIDE MY FACE AND KEEP MY BIG MOUTH SHUT. Thank you all for your patience.
