D. Miller;

The surrender/capture of Geronimo by Clum happened much earlier than the period of time I'm interested in. the Sharps (single shot) taken from Geronimo at that time now resides at the West Point Military Museum. The is another rifle ( a shortened Springfield Trapdoor ) also reportedly surrendered by Geronimo at that time now in the collection displayed at the Arizona Historical Society Museum in Tucson, Arizona. These weapons were taken at an earlier surrender/capture of Geronimo. The one I'm interested in was known to be in his possession as late as March of 1886.
