1884-needs Arizona Gunsmith

Posted by Ken Bryant on Tuesday, 8 January 2019, at 9:56 a.m.

I have a Springfield 1884 that was inherited. The gun didn't have a firing pin and the rear tab is broken at the rear mount bolt. I ordered the pin and tab and they should be here in a few days. I need to have a rear tab installed and the barrel checked for micro cracks. I'm looking for a gunsmith ideally in Arizona that has the appropriate skills to work on and do a good job on this gun. To many "gunsmiths" only know how to assemble AR-15s now days. I need someone with real gunsmith skills. Phoenix area Gunsmith would be ideal. But I'm open to someone in state.
