Hello Stephen.

I do understand that he could be difficult at times. I took that with a grain of salt. Over many years of contact on the phone and in person I did my best to get along with him or anyone for that matter. Even difficult people have information to offer. He and I had many "discussions" over trapdoors and other pieces of the time. I started acquiring TD's in the 60's as my money would allow, buying the nice with the wrecks I could find. Those days are gone. Decent pieces of that era of all types are drying up fast especially those that remain "Original" and unaltered. Bona-fide First Model Cavalry Carbines especially in collectible condition. I do enjoy other period weapons and such also.

Regards, John
