Re: H + R trapdoor breech block repair

I would either replace the ENTIRE block, or arrange to immobilize the potential rotation of the H&R parts.

There is no wonder at all to H&R's choice - it was cheaper, by far. And, there would have been no harm if they had not piled cheapness on top of cheapness by then failing to properly fasten the parts, instead of utilizing a method which could (and does) work loose. For those who brag that their H&R has not suffered the problem, I have but one word: yet.
