Stephan,

Good to see you finally at Tulsa and to get to visit with "Red" Daugherty. Had a great time at the show. Didn't get to the end of the aisles but found what we were looking for. Remington falling block in 45-70 and a 44 Magnum Dirty Harry. The Officers Model was there again this year. He's still too proud of it. More TD's at the show than in the past. Everything from a $675.00 tent stake to a '88 for $3850.00. The seller called it an experimental model but it was just a garden verity 88. One seller had a '73 with all the bluing stripped off. He told my wife (she knows her TD's) that was the way they came from the Armory. Funny thing was he had 2 other TD's next to it in the blue. you hear it all at gun shows.

Red looks good for his age. He bought back a TD that I got from Al that he said he sold to Al way back when. He also bought almost all my small parts supply. Saves me a lot of time listing them on GB.com. We are not building the "Presentation Rifles" anymore. Too hard to get good barrels for the builds. I am keeping Rifle #1 and #3, I think. Someone may want one more than I can resist the price.

Great show and better visit with Red and his buddy Larry.
