There is no surviving usage data for 380212. This is a serial number range where there were both carbines (with 22 inch barrels) and rifles (with 32 1/2" barrels) being made about the same time, and several of those are recorded with April 1887 dates.

Usage data survives for only about 4% of the trapdoors as such records were basically short term documents disposed of after the arms were returned or the unit mustered out of service. So, it is much more common to find no information as in this case than to find some historical tidbit.
