Re: Help with extractor plunger

The soaking seemed to do it. Got out the remains of the spindle and spring and cleaned out the space.

The only problem is I broke my spares trying to refit the extractor...So now I get to wait another week or two for the parts to get to me here in the UK.

Is there a easy/obvious way of doing this that I don't know about? Or is it just a careful application of brute force? Because, boy those springs are strong.
