Bear in mind that, while accepted in 1892, no Krags were made until 1894, and only issued some time after that, so any late TDs would have been subject to being used. Whether yours was issued or not will never be known, but, if it was, apparently it was well-treated. Most of the rod-bayonets were used - the one group that WAS laid away were the 1884s in the mid 400K range, made just before the RBs - far too many MINT examples of such have shown up to be anything else.
