Nice TDs in that early range, with all correct markings, do not grow on trees. The price IS high but NOT totally out of line for a collector-grade piece.

If all you want is a decent looking shooter, I'd keep an eye out here at the classifieds.

Maybe not the best gun for a beginning collector, but not because there is anything wrong with it. If you can afford it without feeling strained, you will likely never regret getting it. Of course you can always make a counter offer, perhaps $1100, and settle at $1200?
