Carbine trigger bow question

Posted by D Miller on Monday, 12 June 2017, at 11:38 a.m.

In Als Trapdoor Springfield Newsletter, Volume 9, Issue 4 from the summer of 2007 he clearly states the carbine trigger bows are installed with the long thin leg to the rear. I do not doubt this fact but does anyone understand the logic behind reversing the bow relative to the rifles bows. Does this also relate to cadets and shot guns?
