Excellent insight! By the way, when I mentioned the stock market, I actually meant "the economy", but certainly a job or income good enough to allow one to purchase antique firearms is certainly only part of the equation. YES, I've noticed how the older collectors who used to attend the big antique arms show in Kansas City have been dissapearing. There used to be so many with all sorts of antique firearms who had multiple tables full of them. Now there are only huge empty spaces on the floor of the gun show. Whatever it is that happened to the various dealers and collectors, it's apparent that those collectors have not and are not being replaced. Look at how Dixie Gun Works no longer has much of anything in the way of antique firearms to sell these days compared to what the used to have during the 1970's. Man, those were the days.
