Most accounts of the Powder River Battle (March 17,1876) put the number of troopers KIA at 4 with 6 wounded. The number of frost bite upwards of 65 +-. The important part was the Indians thought they had beat the Army even with a loss of supplies. Go to Google and type "Powder Battle March 17, 1876."
