Re: Cadet Stocks from Rifle Stocks

Posted by Dick Hosmer on Sunday, 22 January 2017, at 11:45 p.m., in response to Cadet Stocks from Rifle Stocks, posted by Al Frasca on Sunday, 22 January 2017, at 11:18 p.m.

I have such a stock, but cartouched [JSA/1895] on one of my cadets. I did not know that the filler was "loose" - thanks for the info.

As an aside, if anyone needs one, I also have one of the [SWP] rifle stocks, which would be suitable for restoring a Long Range. Looks like it will become surplus as I'm soon going to stretch the Hotchkiss stock (purchased from you years ago) for my own (116189 x 6 groove barrel) LRR restoration, which will then be displayed with my Sharps-sighted original (162036).

There was a time when I'd envisioned having three such guns, but, time is running out.
