No information survives on 418518. There are no carbines listed between 416017 and 449309, so this may be a cut down rifle. Although records are not complete, and there are occasional out of rage guns which are totally legitimate, some are outright fakes and others are merely cut down with no deceptive intent, only a desire for a gun more suitable for the owner's needs.

A careful inspection of details will reveal if it is a real carbine or a cut down.
