I may be a little help. A Cadet barrel measures 28 1/4 inches from the muzzle to to receiver, not the breech block. Muzzle to breech face should be 29.6" (measured inside)on a Cadet. If you have a Cadet it should have an overall length of 48.92". The serial number dates to the second quarter of 1887. The breech block date of 1873 was being fazed out and changed to 1884 during the time 361564 was made so it most likely is correct to the receiver. The wavey line is a tilde that designates the second proof firing of the barrel blank. There should also be a P designating the first proof firing. The other markings are various inspection and proof marks. The birds head is an eagles head. Others here may shed a little more light on what you may have.
