Thanks Dick As always your advice/info is much appreciated. I am saving my pennys for an 1866 rifle in issued condition. I actually prefer the "worts"-indicating the rifle likely saw service (as long as they were not done by Bubba). What would you think a general fair Price I will have to pay? GB has them listed from 1300 to 500ish. These were the auction starting bid prices for the most part with most not having any bids. The condition did not generally follow the price. They even had a supposed cadet for 750.
