I bought that 1868/1868, #127. It is not for sale. Yes, I believe that the gentleman was referring to the rifle when it belonged to the previous owner. I was just three minutes ago wiping the desecrating hand prints off of the rifle that my brother in law left on it when he was handed the rifle last weekend to examine. Poor fellow. He knows nothing about Colt Single Action Armies or Springfield Armory rifles of any type. He'll obviously go to purgatory when he moves onto the other side due to his ineptness and ignorance about such sacred subjects. However I was trying to prevent just that by educating him on the subject. Sigh... All to no avail I think.
