RIA Auction Carbine "Custer era" Carbine and others

Posted by Frank D on Friday, 28 October 2016, at 9:36 a.m.

Just saw the trapdoors that are for auction at RIA. They have two Custer era carbine #5749 and #37807, two officers model one in excellent condition, the other has a CD initials carved into the stock very nice.

Just wondering what you all think about the trapdoors being auctioned? Also about the CD initials: " A monogram "CD" has been carefully hand carved in the left side of the stock between the lock plate screws."
