your forgetting one thing here.. 130 plus years of environmental damage! So making it microscopically exact would be near impossible. THe grant project I had done, many of the casings found on the riverbottom, were listed as ED! Other than typing them.. that's all that could be done! Cleaning the heads with acid like they did ect... combined with the tin/copper/other metal erosion, I'd think would be impossible to match 100% other than to similar of the same on site and others of the day.... 130 years later? Highly doubtful, but maybe a few???
