About 25 years ago I was in Tucson, Arizona, and found a Remington Rolling Block rifle at a shop called Jensons Custom Ammunition that was a conversion from a Springfield Musket.. It was .58 center fire as you stated.. I snatched it up fast as the price was cheap due to non availability of ammunition.. I also sold it cheap, along with most the rest of my firearms including over 30 Trapdoors in 2008 as I was moving to the Philippines...lol... Things change..
