You will most likely have to stretch the stock with a replacement forend. Bands should not be difficult, but don't forget the rod. Loose latches are quite typical of that model. If you are not going to shoot it I wouldn't worry - and there is little point in shooting that model anyway (other than perhaps a round or two to be able to say you had) given the very crude sights and rather wimpy action.

You will spend at least 50% over the original cost to make it look right. Even though the $595 sounds like a bargain, you might want to consider spending a bit more and getting a whole one.
