I've come across what I believe to be a model 1866 rifle. Unfortunately the stock been cut down to what is approximately a carbine length. The owner wants $595 for it as is. My question is, how difficult would it be to find the correct replacement stock and barrel bands. Also, the part which I believe is called the cam latch is loose with a lot of play when the action is opened although it seems tight when the "trapdoor" is closed. I have pictures if anyone would like to see them. Thanks. RB
