Your Trapdoor WILL shoot high at 100 yards. The "battle" setting for the Buffungton sight (and Buckhorn) is 205 yards. I sell a Globe Sight on Gunbroker.com that sets the front blade height at .584 in. This is the correct height to zero at 100 yards.
You can also install a taller front blade (brass or steel) at .584 off the top of the barrel. Do not measure from the bottom of the blade slot. If you do your rifle will shoot low.
I'd love to sell you a Globe sight but the taller blade will work just fine.
