James, I finally found all the pictures in my yahoo junk file. It looks like an early 1873 carbine with all correct parts. The most important thing is the early long wristed stock and the unmarked barrel with the correct front and rear sights, with good unslotted screws, and a correct breech block. All the rest are correct, except for the brass plating which was probably applied later, but does not look bad to me. All said, I think you have a valuable piece of history. Jim
