Thanks - sorry, no info, it falls between previously logged carbines 48175 and 48275, neither of which are known to have any interesting history.

While admittedly "pre-Custer" (ALL 1st Model carbines are) it would have been very close to end of the model run, and is 5000 above any known specimen with ties to the battle at LBH.
