You do NOT have a carbine; it is a cut-off rifle, and, judging from the poor quality of inletting at the ring bar, and the not-quite-right profile at forend, I strongly suspect you have either a re-worked (or repro) stock. Gun has definitely been refinished. Not a desirable piece at all, value maybe $300 (NOT an offer to buy!) for the usable parts. Perhaps the best customer might be a cavalry reenactor looking for something to not worry about damaging. Sorry.
