Re: 1870 Navy on GB

The Navy marks consisted of an anchor (normally at top of barrel just ahead of receiver) and "H.B.R." (normally at left side of barrel just ahead of joint) but variant locations have been reported. The letters were individually stamped, and vary greatly in spacing and force of strike.
