Well, to be humorous, I could say it means you need new glasses! Or, perhaps there is a ding, or excess wear, at the right edge? No harm intended.

Actually, it is a fancy "P", and indicates that the arm was function-fired with five service cartridges to see that all parts were in working order, It was not a "proof" test in the sense of strength against blowing up - that was done very early on in the manufacturing process.
