Well, a "musket" barrel wouldn't be in .50-70. If you really meant a converted musket barrel, there should be a date just ahead of the tang - sometimes a trace of this remains on an 1865 or 1866 Allin conversion, but usually not. If you meant a 32-5/8" threaded barrel, from an 1868-1870 piece, then the answer is "no".
