If one was made like the drawing, it would probably have been unique, and would now be in the SA Museum.

They did, in 1886, make up 1000 carbines with 24" barrels, for field trial, but the stock and cleaning rod(s) were nothing at all like the drawing on page 198 (of Book 2).
