Ken is a fine gentleman, and quite friendly, but I have learned that his price is his price. On another site, that gun, which is rather well worn, and not in a particularly "hot" area numberwise, might be priced at $4,000 or so. He seems to be in the enviable position of not really having to sell things at all - if they do, fine, but if they don't, well, that's OK too.

Gutterman, David Condon, and Collector's in Houston (to name a few) seem to be from much the same mold.

Contrast that attitude with Al's outlook - he prices stuff reasonably and it moves; how often have you seen an entire batch of new listings show up as "sold" or at least "pending".
