My loads are close to 1240 f.p.s. At 100 yards I stand the rear sight up and set the v notch for 200 yards. I then use the front sight for windage to get in the center of the target. I use the top of the front sight cover in the center of the target to get the correct elevation. This works perfect for me with my loads and my rifle. Our matches are on a course of 75, 100, 200, 300, 400 and 500 yards, so I can use the sight settings on the rear sight as we move out.
