Re: Calvary Museums

Museums are a mixed bag - the only constant I have found is that they do NOT like the "great unwashed" AKA the paying (but "non-professional) public informing them - no matter HOW politely - that their description is wrong.

And, yes, I do occasionally say to myself (under my breath) "mine's nicer than that."

However, the day of opening my "basement" door to a stranger is long gone. A pity, but times have changed, though in a contrasting example, it is still very common practice for model railroaders to open their homes to the general public, especially at the time of major conventions.
