What a great instrument to have. How does the testing get conducted on a cartridge?

Accurate powder has loads listed for a 19,000 PSI maximum in their Trapdoor loads section, the 16,100 was just the maximum for that particular load. Not sure why they have 19,000 PSI listed as a maximum pressure for the rifle, it's apparent through your test that even a BP load like the original service 405 exceeds that.
