I owned this carbine for over 20 years before selling. Oh, I wish that I still had it! It had two cartouches; one was dated, if I remember correctly, 1882, while the other was, again, possibly 1879. Thus, one was SWP and the other ESA, not necessarily in that order. It had a serrated trigger and a rifle (!) Buffington sight. I remember that the hammer was of a was not of the earlier '73 pattern but I don't know which pattern. Low arch, of course. Why the two cartouches? It is not a hit in the SRS data.
