No such animal - though that question does come up about every ten years. I presume it is due to someone copying/reading/writing an 8 for a 5, at some point.

Is there a filled rod groove, or fish-mouth patch, or replaced tip, at the front of the stock? Is there a hole under the front of the trigger guard which intersects the bottom of the cleaning rod hole?

FWIW, that is a rifle serial number range, as well.
