Speaking of Shooting the TD.

I purchased a chamber Lazar sighting tool in 45-70. Will be interesting to take it to the range to see the correlation between the Lazar image & the sight picture. This will give me/us an idea of an "aim point" at 100 yards.

This can also be a good tool for making my raised front blades. I do know that the Lyman Globe sight I alter for the TD is very close to zero in the .484 height at 100 yards.
