I'd say it goes beyond "rare", and is possibly unique - thus would not have come on anything.

That said, even with the Kellerstedt provenance, I wouldn't expect it to be a really hot item.

It seems to me like one of those "what were they thinking" moments. Why reinvent the wheel - they had MANY thousands of guard bows already equipped with swivel - which they ground down to make carbine/cadet bows, there being no salvageable equivalent.
